WEBVTT 00:01.390 --> 00:07.730 Man, the title of my sermon this morning is Third Wave Feminism, Third Wave Feminism. 00:07.930 --> 00:11.650 Now, for those of you that are Sunday morning only, I have already preached the sermon on 00:11.650 --> 00:14.750 the first wave of feminism and the second wave of feminism. 00:15.170 --> 00:20.030 And so this one's on the third wave, which is the 1990s to the early 2000s. 00:20.330 --> 00:24.170 Now as I preach in those other sermons, and you can watch them online if you 00:24.170 --> 00:29.210 missed them, but the first two waves of feminism have unfortunately been about 00:29.210 --> 00:36.290 80 to 90 percent embraced by independent fundamental Baptists and evangelical Christians, 00:36.910 --> 00:43.270 whereas the third wave is where pretty much all Christians get off the train at that point. 00:43.510 --> 00:48.430 But the lesson here is that, you know, when you end up rejecting the clear 00:48.430 --> 00:53.290 teachings of the Bible about the first and the second wave, well the third wave 00:53.290 --> 00:58.510 is where you end up, because sin always takes you further than you want to go. 00:58.510 --> 01:03.410 It costs you more than you're willing to pay and it keeps you longer than you want to stay, right? 01:03.850 --> 01:11.310 And so when you become untethered from what the Bible teaches about these basic issues of our lives, 01:11.470 --> 01:14.910 about men's and women's roles, about marriage, and so forth, 01:15.210 --> 01:20.830 once you become untethered from what the Bible says, well then, you know, who knows where you'll go? 01:21.090 --> 01:25.370 Who knows where you'll end up? And this is where you end up, apparently, 01:25.930 --> 01:34.530 in what's called third wave of feminism. So let me just break down to you the tenets of feminism 01:35.110 --> 01:42.550 in the 90s and early 2000s. Unfortunately, this has affected our lives, infected our mentality 01:42.550 --> 01:47.670 in so many ways. We got to get back to the Bible and renew our minds, you know, and gird up 01:47.670 --> 01:53.790 the loins of our mind and believe what the Bible says. So point number one is what's called 01:55.230 --> 01:59.910 intersectionality, okay? Now, probably a lot of you have never even heard this word, 02:00.230 --> 02:06.030 but if you were on a college campus, this is constantly a buzzword that's being dropped all the 02:06.030 --> 02:10.910 time, you know, and in liberal circles, you're going to hear this word all the time, intersectionality. 02:11.170 --> 02:14.090 Let me just read for you the dictionary definition of this word. 02:16.230 --> 02:23.110 Intersectionality is an analytical framework that describes how multiple social identities, 02:23.110 --> 02:28.910 such as race, gender, class, sexual orientation, disability, and religion 02:29.670 --> 02:35.890 overlap and intersect to create unique experiences of discrimination and disadvantage. 02:36.630 --> 02:42.870 So again, it's just this idea of like, hey, we're just such victims for so many reasons. 02:43.110 --> 02:48.510 It's not just that we're women, it's that we're Jewish, black, lesbian, handicapped women 02:48.510 --> 02:53.930 or whatever, you know, it kind of reminds me of the, you know, weird Al Jankovic, 02:54.370 --> 02:58.890 you know, lesbian Nazi hookers abducted by aliens and forced on weight loss programs, 02:59.190 --> 03:04.870 you know? So I haven't memorized because I saw it in the fourth grade. I thought it was funny. 03:05.290 --> 03:10.870 So what can I say? But anyway, you know, go if you went to the book of Leviticus, 03:10.870 --> 03:18.910 Leviticus chapter number 20, okay? Because the idea here is that they're trying to get 03:18.910 --> 03:26.330 feminism to also be fighting all these other battles. And most notably, they want the 03:26.330 --> 03:32.370 feminists to go to bat for the sodomites, okay? And here's the thing about this, 03:32.530 --> 03:36.870 you'd wonder on face value, what does feminism have to do with being a homo? 03:37.930 --> 03:42.290 But it's intersectionality, you know, that brings all these things together. 03:43.570 --> 03:49.390 And so, you know, you go to, for example, Black Lives Matter and you go to their homepage and it's 03:49.390 --> 03:54.750 all about being a homo. And you look at their staff and it's all sodomites, it's all perverts, 03:54.830 --> 03:58.610 and you're like, what does this have to do with being black? You know, here's the thing, 03:58.970 --> 04:04.350 God created all human beings in his image and red and yellow, black and white, 04:04.350 --> 04:10.330 their precious in his sight, right? Whereas being a homo is an abomination and a sin against God, 04:10.490 --> 04:16.170 it's a perversion. And so to compare that to race or skin color is obviously absurd. 04:17.050 --> 04:22.330 But look what the Bible says, the Bible's not coy about this subject. I mean, the Bible just 04:22.330 --> 04:27.010 comes right out and tells you what's going on with this subject. Leviticus chapter 20, verse 04:27.010 --> 04:33.630 13 says, if a man also lie with mankind as he lieth with a woman, both of them have 04:33.630 --> 04:39.630 committed an abomination, they shall surely be put to death, their blood shall be upon them. 04:39.790 --> 04:45.810 Now look, this is giving the most severe penalty that the Bible gives for any crime in the Old 04:45.810 --> 04:51.050 Testament, you know, is the death penalty. That's the worst punishment that you get. 04:51.490 --> 04:57.850 So this is a massive sin, super wicked in the eyes of God, and under Moses is punishable 04:57.850 --> 05:01.730 by the death penalty. Like, how dare you quote Leviticus? Jesus quote Leviticus. 05:02.590 --> 05:07.110 Jesus said, don't think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I came not to destroy, 05:07.230 --> 05:12.010 but to fulfill. Barely I say to you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall 05:12.010 --> 05:18.030 know why it's passed from the law, till all be fulfilled. And so Jesus Christ affirmed 05:18.030 --> 05:22.430 the teachings of the Old Testament. And by the way, Jesus Christ is the same 05:22.430 --> 05:28.890 yesterday and today and forever. Jesus doesn't change. God said, I'm the Lord, I change not. 05:29.450 --> 05:34.990 Therefore, your sons of Jacob are not consumed. So there is no Old Testament God versus New Testament 05:34.990 --> 05:41.570 God. It's just God. And God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And so that's what he says. 05:41.690 --> 05:44.950 Now, there was a certain bozo, and if you would go back to Leviticus chapter 18, 05:45.330 --> 05:50.330 there was a certain bozo who claimed, well, the Bible never says that homosexuality is a sin. 05:50.870 --> 05:54.190 It just says that you should throw rocks at them until they die. 05:55.050 --> 06:00.510 But it doesn't say it's a sin, though. Actually, it does say it's a sin because if you just go back 06:00.510 --> 06:08.930 two pages to Leviticus 1822, it says, thou shalt not lie with mankind. As with womankind, 06:09.330 --> 06:13.890 it is abomination. Well, here's the thing about that is that the Bible defines sin as the 06:13.890 --> 06:20.010 transgression of the law. So if you transgress the law, it's a sin. And last time I checked, 06:20.010 --> 06:23.870 one of the best ways to phrase something as being against the law is thou shalt not. 06:24.250 --> 06:30.630 Like, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not 06:30.630 --> 06:35.310 bear false witness, thou shalt not covet. And here we have thou shalt not lie with mankind. 06:35.770 --> 06:41.110 As with womankind, it's abomination. Now, if you would go back to Romans chapter one, 06:41.170 --> 06:48.310 where we were in the New Testament, Romans chapter one, because this idea of intersectionality 06:48.310 --> 06:53.590 is going to basically say, oh, you're black and you care about black people? Well, 06:53.590 --> 06:58.150 let's get you fighting for homos now. Oh, you're a woman and you care about women's rights? Well, 06:58.210 --> 07:05.430 you need to be pro-homo. It's bizarre to try to combine all these things and mix all these things, 07:05.450 --> 07:10.690 but that's exactly what happened in the 90s and 2000s to where you'll preach against 07:10.690 --> 07:15.870 sodomites and you'll be called a racist. And you're like, what? Like, what does this have 07:15.870 --> 07:21.690 to do with race? But I'm telling you, that's what happened. Look, if you would, at Romans chapter 07:21.690 --> 07:28.170 one, verse 25, the Bible says, who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshiped and served 07:28.170 --> 07:34.750 the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. And in the ancient world, 07:35.110 --> 07:39.890 this took place in the form of people bowing down to idols that were literally based upon 07:39.890 --> 07:45.650 animals and human beings, right? And they're bound down to statues of animals or humans or 07:45.650 --> 07:51.670 hybrids of humans and animals. And they're worshiping the creature more than the Creator. 07:52.110 --> 07:58.070 Nowadays, there's a movement of just kind of pantheistic kind of environmental worship of 07:58.070 --> 08:05.330 Gaia, Mother Earth. That's also a worship of the creature more than the Creator, okay? We 08:05.330 --> 08:09.910 shouldn't worship nature. We should enjoy nature and admire nature. But at the end of the day, 08:09.910 --> 08:16.550 we need to be worshiping nature's God, okay? The God who is the Creator. And it says, for this cause, 08:16.930 --> 08:20.650 you know, because they rejected the Lord, and there was a lot of verses about that leading 08:20.650 --> 08:27.550 up to this, rejecting God, for this cause, God gave them up unto vile affections, right? 08:27.770 --> 08:33.610 Vile means just gross, horrible, disgusting. God gave them over to vile affections for 08:33.610 --> 08:40.330 even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise, 08:40.530 --> 08:45.250 also the men leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust one toward another, 08:45.710 --> 08:51.150 men with men working that which is unseemly and receiving in themselves that recompense of their 08:51.150 --> 08:55.530 error which was meat. And even as they did not like to retain God and their knowledge, 08:55.890 --> 09:02.910 God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient, right? 09:02.910 --> 09:07.030 And that means, you know, things that are not convenient means they're unseemly, abnormal, 09:07.390 --> 09:11.610 they don't come naturally, okay? And the idea here that I want to point out though, 09:11.630 --> 09:18.050 is that notice he actually starts out with the women saying, the women changed the natural 09:18.050 --> 09:22.330 use of that which is against nature, and likewise also the men. And unfortunately, 09:22.830 --> 09:30.970 this movement in society is often spearheaded by women. You know, the sad reality is 09:30.970 --> 09:35.950 that there are a lot more women who sympathize with sodomites than men. 09:36.450 --> 09:41.950 And in fact, when hard preaching comes across the pulpit on this, usually real hair-legged men 09:41.950 --> 09:46.410 are like, ah, amen! You know, whereas it's usually women who are like, whoa, that was a little bit 09:46.410 --> 09:51.430 much. It's a little over the top and they're sympathizing with their poor little faggots or 09:51.430 --> 09:57.030 whatever. And so what we have to understand is that unfortunately, women will sometimes be 09:57.030 --> 10:01.750 deceived on this issue. Now obviously, good godly Christian women who are reading their 10:01.750 --> 10:07.990 Bibles believe on it the same as we all do, you know. But it's easy for women because 10:07.990 --> 10:15.210 they are obviously more compassionate and sympathetic by nature to get sucked into 10:15.210 --> 10:20.610 the propaganda and to somehow think this is okay. And so basically, this is where feminism 10:21.250 --> 10:28.270 begins to promote the sodomite agenda starting in the 90s. And this is the third wave of feminism. 10:28.370 --> 10:33.010 But that's not all the third wave involved. Number two, the third wave also involved 10:33.010 --> 10:40.250 suddenly defending prostitution and pornography as empowerment. It's empowering. See, 10:40.490 --> 10:45.050 in the second wave of feminism, those were seen as harmful and exploiting of women. 10:45.850 --> 10:48.970 But then in the third wave, it's like, no, no, no, wait a minute. You know, 10:49.470 --> 10:55.130 if you want to be a prostitute, that's part of your liberation and freedom as a woman, you know. 10:55.490 --> 11:02.970 And so this is obviously totally wrong and unbiblical. But this is where you end up when 11:02.970 --> 11:06.530 you just start throwing away God's rules. And then the second wave, people are like, 11:06.610 --> 11:09.810 whoa, whoa, what are we doing here? It's like, well, you did this to yourself. 11:10.170 --> 11:14.490 You rejected what the Bible said about men and women. And so now might as well just go all 11:14.490 --> 11:20.170 the way. And now all of a sudden, prostitution is glorified. If you would look at verse 24 11:20.750 --> 11:27.350 of Romans 1, it says, wherefore God also gave them up to what? Uncleanness through the lusts 11:27.350 --> 11:33.110 of their own hearts to what? Dishonor their bodies, their own bodies between themselves. 11:33.210 --> 11:41.150 This is dishonorable. There's nothing honorable or glorifying or empowering or 11:41.870 --> 11:52.150 noteworthy or noble about fornication. Okay, fornication is shameful and dishonorable, 11:52.150 --> 11:59.290 according to the Bible. Okay. And here's the thing. Today, we have a channel or a news thing. 11:59.470 --> 12:02.890 I don't know what it's called AZ family. Who knows what I'm talking about? Like, 12:03.010 --> 12:07.330 it's something that'll pop up in your feet or whatever. And you'll have AZ family running 12:07.330 --> 12:13.590 stories. Hey, this school teacher quit her job and is now making $300,000 a year on only 12:13.590 --> 12:19.290 fans or whatever. And I'm thinking myself, why are you a family news source going to promote 12:19.290 --> 12:28.690 prostitution and glorify prostitution? And how dare we question her choice to make money that 12:28.690 --> 12:33.930 way? Folks, that is dishonorable and wicked. You know, being a school teacher may be a 12:33.930 --> 12:40.010 low paying job, but at least it's an honest day's work. At least you're doing an actual service 12:40.010 --> 12:45.970 to society. And it's probably one of the hardest jobs that there is teaching school. It's a strenuous, 12:46.170 --> 12:50.730 you know, I can't imagine just like preaching every day and that, you know, and just preaching for 12:50.730 --> 12:54.350 five, six hours at a time and stuff. I mean, they're up there in front of those classrooms, 12:54.810 --> 12:58.130 teaching and at least I'm preaching to people who want to be here. I'm sure some of you 12:58.130 --> 13:02.970 were dragged in here by someone, but I'm saying most people want to be here. And so, you know, 13:02.970 --> 13:10.010 kids are being forced to go to school and that's a hard job. And I can see why it'd be difficult 13:10.010 --> 13:13.570 and you're not making a lot of money, but most people are doing it because it's a labor of love. 13:14.130 --> 13:18.130 But at the end of the day, it's an honorable profession. It's an honorable career, 13:18.370 --> 13:23.330 you're at least providing a service to society. But so now let's compare that to being a 13:24.950 --> 13:30.750 prostitute society. AZ family news is telling you, hey, you can just quit your teaching 13:30.750 --> 13:36.630 job and become a prostitute online and you can just make hundreds of thousands of dollars. 13:36.810 --> 13:42.690 And here's the thing, I'm sure that there are whores online making millions or hundreds of 13:42.690 --> 13:46.190 thousands, but you know, there's probably a lot of just cheap whores online that are just 13:46.190 --> 13:50.570 not even making much money at all and just degrading themselves, degrading their whole 13:50.570 --> 13:56.630 family and just completely humiliating everyone in their life for a few bucks. 13:57.830 --> 14:02.610 Why would we glorify that? It should be shamed. What does the Bible say? We'll go back to Genesis. 14:02.790 --> 14:06.670 Let's just kind of start at the beginning of the Bible and see what the Bible says about this 14:06.670 --> 14:14.710 subject because we need to live in a society that shames wickedness. And even anthropologists 14:14.710 --> 14:20.650 and academics will look at these things and they'll call it a, quote, shame-based society 14:20.650 --> 14:26.310 or an honor-based society. And this is part of what keeps our society on the rails. 14:26.910 --> 14:33.530 Because when you just remove all shame, when you remove all concepts of honor from society, 14:33.790 --> 14:40.070 society just becomes bizarre and wicked and horrible and it will ultimately implode, 14:40.390 --> 14:45.090 it will crash and burn and then some other society will take over that can actually bring 14:45.090 --> 14:51.610 order to the chaos. And so obviously we want our American way of life to persist. We love America 14:51.610 --> 14:57.430 and we want it to thrive and succeed as it has in the past. We don't want it to become this weird 14:57.430 --> 15:05.030 cesspool of iniquity so that we can be overpowered by some foreign invader. And so part of that is 15:05.030 --> 15:11.990 we've got to stay with the morality of the Bible. We've got to stay with God's Word. These 15:11.990 --> 15:16.510 things don't change. I don't care how many thousands of years go by, it's written in stone, 15:16.650 --> 15:23.230 my friends, and it's the same yesterday, today and forever. And so the third wave sought to 15:24.770 --> 15:31.330 legitimize and defend prostitution and pornography as just, oh, these could empower women. 15:31.770 --> 15:36.130 This isn't men exploiting women. This is women expressing themselves and women 15:36.130 --> 15:42.290 doing what they want to do for a living. What? This is horrible. And by the way, 15:42.810 --> 15:47.470 and I'm sorry to preach these negative graphic sermons sometimes, but at the end of the day, 15:47.770 --> 15:52.510 like I'm kind of sorry, not sorry, because our society is really messed up right now and you 15:52.510 --> 15:55.550 need to hear this stuff and you're not really going to hear it anywhere else. So you kind 15:55.550 --> 16:01.550 of need to hear it in church, okay? But you know, read the book of Revelation chapter 17. 16:02.110 --> 16:05.370 And in the book of Revelation chapter 17, you have this illustration 16:06.270 --> 16:10.970 where it's calling Babylon the great whore, you know, and that's the illustration that's used. 16:11.130 --> 16:15.890 That's the metaphor that's used. And if you look at the fate of the great whore, eventually 16:16.430 --> 16:23.590 those who have used her will turn around and then abuse her and just tear her apart and 16:23.590 --> 16:27.830 just burn her and destroy her and whatever. Let me tell you something. I just want to mention 16:27.830 --> 16:33.670 this to you little girls and you young ladies out there that maybe you've seen this bizarre, 16:33.670 --> 16:39.750 stupid propaganda in the news, or maybe you've seen these evil Hollywood movies like Pretty Woman 16:39.750 --> 16:44.450 or something that's going to try to glorify this stuff to you, okay? But let me tell you 16:44.450 --> 16:50.310 something. When you're in that line of work, you're dealing with some of the sleaziest 16:50.310 --> 16:55.750 guys around. You're not dealing with, you know, Richard Gere over here or whatever, 16:55.750 --> 17:01.610 you know what I mean? What you think it's going to be. What you're dealing with is guys who are 17:01.610 --> 17:07.750 skeevy weird guys. Now look, there's a certain percentage of dudes that are going to be like 17:07.750 --> 17:16.570 evil, sick, weird, violent people, murderers, just whatever, just psychos in whatever the way. 17:16.890 --> 17:21.690 Now, if we take the guys that are going to prostitutes, you know, we're probably 17:21.690 --> 17:26.150 narrowing in on that demographic a little bit of weirdos. Everybody understand what I'm saying? 17:26.710 --> 17:31.510 And if you're just going to be with 10, 20, and even if you're not a literal prostitute, 17:31.690 --> 17:36.230 if you're just going to be with 10, 20, 30 dudes, well, you know what? You're rolling the dice 17:36.230 --> 17:40.450 every time. Eventually, you're going to roll the double fives. And you know what's going 17:40.450 --> 17:45.270 to happen is you're going to have one of these guys beat the living whatever out of you, 17:45.270 --> 17:53.510 hurt you, injure you, torture you. Who knows what's going to happen? Folks, you need to flee 17:53.510 --> 18:01.350 fornication, run screaming in the other direction from this gross evil underworld of prostitution 18:01.350 --> 18:08.670 and pornography. But look what the Bible says in Genesis chapter 34 verse 31. This is Simeon 18:08.670 --> 18:14.250 and Levi, the sons of Jacob, and they're indignant about the way that their sister 18:14.250 --> 18:19.930 has fornicated and they end up going out and just killing the guy who fornicates with her 18:19.930 --> 18:24.750 and just killing the whole town. Now, they definitely went overboard and killed way too many people 18:24.750 --> 18:29.630 and God did not approve of it. But this is their logic. This is their rationale is like, 18:29.730 --> 18:35.270 well, should he deal with our sister as with the harlot? You know, saying, look, this is 18:35.270 --> 18:42.450 super shameful and humiliating and dishonoring to our family that our sister is being treated as a 18:42.450 --> 18:48.870 harlot. That's what the Bible teaches about this is that it's shameful. It's dishonoring. We saw 18:48.870 --> 18:56.330 it in Romans one. Look at chapter 38 verse 15. In chapter 38 verse 15, we have the story where 18:56.330 --> 19:02.150 Judah gets tricked by Tamar into thinking that she's a prostitute. And it says in Genesis 38 19:02.150 --> 19:08.750 15, when Judah saw her, he thought her to be a harlot because she had covered her face. A couple 19:08.750 --> 19:13.790 things here. It shows you that the Muslims are way out to lunch telling women that they need to just 19:13.790 --> 19:18.510 cover their faces period. Because in the Bible times, if you're covering your face is a sign 19:18.510 --> 19:24.130 that you're a prostitute. That's what it says. Okay. But number two, the reason that she's 19:24.130 --> 19:29.530 covering her face is because it's embarrassing and shameful to be engaging in that activity. 19:30.250 --> 19:37.010 And that's the way we should look at it as well. Shameful. Look at Leviticus chapter 19 verse 29. 19:38.150 --> 19:43.590 While you're turning there, I'm going to begin to read. Leviticus 19, 29, do not prostitute thy daughter 19:43.590 --> 19:50.050 to cause her to be a whore, lest the land fall to whoredom and the land become full of wickedness. 19:50.150 --> 19:55.710 Look, this has been called the oldest profession. This is one of those things that's ubiquitous 19:55.710 --> 20:01.990 in our world. It's never going to go away. It's never going to be 100% gone. It's always going to 20:01.990 --> 20:07.250 exist. It always has existed. But here's the thing about it though. You don't want the land 20:07.250 --> 20:14.650 to just fall to whoredom though. It's one thing if it's some skeevy part of town where this is 20:14.650 --> 20:20.170 going on on a small scale. It's another thing where it's out in the open and AZ family news 20:20.170 --> 20:25.770 is just like, Hey guys, check out how much money you can make. Hey, let's make a Hollywood movie 20:25.770 --> 20:32.830 about this. Hey, let's promote this. There's a big difference between sin going on behind closed doors 20:32.830 --> 20:37.890 and being just publicly glorified and embraced because then what happens is the land just 20:37.890 --> 20:49.590 falls to whoredom. It just goes all the way into that and it is a downfall ultimately. It 20:49.590 --> 20:53.690 don't want the land to just fall to whoredom and the land become full of wickedness. But see, 20:53.870 --> 20:59.910 the liberal mentality on this is like, well, it's always going to be around. So we might as well 20:59.910 --> 21:06.490 just condone it and just, you know, we can just kind of regulate it and de-stigmatize it and then 21:06.490 --> 21:11.270 people can kind of do it safely or whatever. But see that this is a misguided philosophy 21:11.270 --> 21:17.810 because when you start acting like it's normal legitimate, okay, honorable way to make money 21:17.810 --> 21:23.410 at the end of the day, you end up promoting it and then the land just falls to whoredom and then 21:23.410 --> 21:31.370 it just takes over and destroys society. Look at chapter 21 verse one, same book Leviticus 21 1 21:31.370 --> 21:36.390 and the Lord said, and Moses speak unto the priests, the sons of Aaron and say unto them, 21:36.850 --> 21:41.430 there shall none be defiled for the dead among his people. I'm just reading this 21:41.430 --> 21:45.150 to give you the context that we're talking to the priests, the sons of Aaron, jump down 21:45.150 --> 21:53.210 to verse seven, they shall not take a wife that is a whore or profane. Neither shall they take a woman 21:53.210 --> 22:00.690 put away from her husband, that's divorced, for he is holy unto his God. Look at verse number nine, 22:00.830 --> 22:07.310 the daughter of any priest. If she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth 22:07.310 --> 22:14.130 her father. She shall be burnt with fire. And look, I don't care if you like this or not, 22:14.130 --> 22:19.670 this is what the Bible says. If you don't like it, you don't like the Bible. If you don't like that 22:19.670 --> 22:25.370 Bible verse we just read, you don't like God. And you know, I would hate to be sitting on God's 22:25.370 --> 22:29.810 planet and just like, I don't like you God because you know, I'm just a third wave feminist 22:29.810 --> 22:34.390 and I just don't think that it's that bad to be a whore. Well, you know what, the Bible says 22:34.390 --> 22:39.950 that if you have a guy who's a man of God, he's a priest in the Old Testament, that's 22:39.950 --> 22:44.210 the man of God who's serving God full time, teaching and preaching the word of God, 22:44.650 --> 22:49.310 doing the animal sacrifices in the temple or the tabernacle, depending on what era we're in. 22:49.630 --> 22:54.130 I mean, it says that if his daughter goes out there and is out fornicating, 22:54.410 --> 23:01.870 then she's basically profaning her father. She's basically ruining his reputation or 23:01.870 --> 23:07.450 dishonoring him. It's an embarrassment to the whole family, obviously. And so God literally 23:07.450 --> 23:16.490 says to burn her at the stake. It's the Bible. She shall be burnt with fire. Look at Deuteronomy 23:16.490 --> 23:21.110 chapter 22 because look, this is all over the Bible. And you say, well, you know, you're in 23:21.110 --> 23:25.890 you're in the mosaic law, we could go all over the Bible. You know, and it's not like this changed 23:25.890 --> 23:29.990 in the New Testament. It's not like the New Testament is like a third wave feminist document 23:29.990 --> 23:35.210 here. Okay, the New Testament affirms the teaching of the Old Testament. And look, 23:35.210 --> 23:40.950 this is probably one of the most important doctrines that we understand that a lot of people get mixed 23:40.950 --> 23:45.670 up on is the difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament. Because a lot of people, 23:45.750 --> 23:49.350 they think, oh, we're in the New Testament. Let's just throw out the entire Old Testament. 23:49.490 --> 23:52.970 And this is such a horrible way to read the Bible. Because if you think about it, 23:53.150 --> 23:58.330 just by volume, three quarters of the Bible is the Old Testament, right? Like if you look at 23:58.330 --> 24:03.870 your Bible and just put your finger on Matthew one, and you just see how much you'd be 24:03.870 --> 24:09.150 rejecting like you'd be rejecting like the lion share of the Bible. Like the Old Testament is a 24:09.150 --> 24:12.750 lot longer than the New Testament. So if you're just gonna say, oh, it's just New Testament only, 24:13.890 --> 24:21.850 you're missing out on a lot of what God has to say to you. Okay. And so here's a better way to 24:21.850 --> 24:26.530 read the Bible. Instead of saying, oh, well, I'm just only going to go by the New Testament. 24:26.670 --> 24:30.530 I'm going to totally just throw out like three quarters of the Bible or whatever, 24:31.670 --> 24:38.990 approximately. A better way is to go by this principle. Unless God has specifically changed 24:38.990 --> 24:44.590 something in the New Testament, everything in the Old Testament still stands. So there are particular 24:44.590 --> 24:51.310 specific things in the New Testament where God says, look, this has changed in the New 24:51.310 --> 24:58.190 Testament. Okay. The meats, the drinks, the divers, washings, the carnal ordinances, 24:58.190 --> 25:05.550 the animal sacrifices, the Levitical priesthood. The book of Hebrews specifically tells you that 25:05.550 --> 25:09.910 these things are repealed, that they're done away in Christ. Those things are temporary. 25:10.510 --> 25:14.790 This is what changed. He doesn't just say, throw out everything in the Old Testament. Rather, 25:14.910 --> 25:19.650 the New Testament says, all scripture is given by inspiration of God. And if you look at the 25:19.650 --> 25:23.390 context of when and to whom that's being written, he's talking about the Old Testament 25:24.070 --> 25:29.770 because the New Testament hasn't even finished being written yet. Only parts of it have even 25:29.770 --> 25:34.850 been written. And he's telling Timothy, he says, from a child Dallas known the Holy 25:34.850 --> 25:38.990 Scriptures, well, guess what? When Timothy was a child, none of the New Testament had been 25:38.990 --> 25:45.670 written yet. Zero. So he's saying, from a child, Timothy, you knew the Holy Scriptures, 25:46.030 --> 25:50.970 that can only be talking about the 39 books from Genesis to Malachi. He says, from a child 25:50.970 --> 25:55.230 you've known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith. 25:55.490 --> 26:01.810 What's salvation? Through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. Next breath, all scripture is given 26:01.810 --> 26:07.590 by inspiration of God. He's talking about Old Testament scriptures specifically. Obviously, 26:07.710 --> 26:11.890 it applies to the New Testament as well. But he says, all scripture is given by inspiration 26:11.890 --> 26:23.570 of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness. So where 26:23.570 --> 26:29.270 do I get instructions for righteousness in the New Testament? I can get them from all 66 books 26:29.270 --> 26:35.170 because if I'm reading in the Old Testament and it tells me, you know, not to do something 26:35.170 --> 26:41.630 because it's morally wrong, then I shouldn't do it. And the New Testament didn't come along and 26:41.630 --> 26:48.050 say, hey, killing is okay now. Adultery is okay now. Stealing is okay now. It changed the ceremonial law, 26:48.370 --> 26:55.010 but it did not change the moral or criminal laws. It changed the ceremonial law, you know, 26:55.050 --> 27:02.130 the things that were like dietary stuff, clean, unclean, animal sacrifices, levitical priesthood. 27:02.350 --> 27:06.250 Folks, if you don't understand that, you're not going to go very far in your study of the 27:06.250 --> 27:10.450 Bible because you're basically studying the Bible with one arm tied behind your back 27:10.450 --> 27:16.550 because you're basically rejecting like a giant chunk of scripture and you're missing out on so 27:16.550 --> 27:20.930 many important teachings of the Bible by restricting yourself only to the New Testament. Then you 27:20.930 --> 27:25.210 have these hyper dispensationalists come along and then they'll throw out the four Gospels and say 27:25.210 --> 27:30.430 those aren't for you either. And they'll say it's Romans to Philemon. That's it. So you have 27:30.430 --> 27:34.490 people literally just using this little, and I've literally seen these dispies get up and 27:34.490 --> 27:39.510 hold up their Bible and go, this is the part of the Bible that's written to you and squeeze 27:39.510 --> 27:45.810 Romans to Philemon between their fingers. Nope. The entire Bible is given by inspiration of God 27:45.810 --> 27:52.710 and it's profitable for doctrine in 2026 America. So you can't just play this card of, well, 27:52.750 --> 27:56.530 that's in the Old Testament. So is love thy neighbor as thyself. That's a quote from the 27:56.530 --> 28:02.250 Old Testament. Leviticus chapter 19. Ah, Leviticus. Yeah, Leviticus 19. That's not love thy 28:02.250 --> 28:09.250 neighbor as thyself. No, Jesus was quoting Leviticus. Jesus loved to quote Leviticus. 28:09.250 --> 28:15.990 Okay. So where did we leave off? Where did I have you turn? Deuteronomy 22 verse 21. Then they 28:15.990 --> 28:20.230 shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house and the men of her city shall stone her 28:20.230 --> 28:25.830 with stones that she die because she had brought folly in Israel. So what does the Bible call it 28:25.830 --> 28:31.650 when you're out there as a girl losing your virginity, committing fornication, 28:32.110 --> 28:39.170 playing the whore? He says you've wrought folly. Now, what does folly mean? Folly is the noun that 28:39.170 --> 28:44.150 goes with the other noun that has to do with people called fool. The person is the fool and the 28:44.150 --> 28:51.790 act that they engage in is folly or foolishness. So this is a stupid thing to do. It's folly. 28:52.050 --> 28:58.130 It's foolishness. It says she has wrought folly in Israel to play the whore in her father's 28:58.130 --> 29:06.290 house. So shall thou put away evil from among you. Look at chapter 23 verse 17. Deuteronomy 23 29:06.290 --> 29:12.250 17. There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. 29:12.750 --> 29:17.070 There's a little bit of intersectionality in that verse, I feel like. Verse number 18. 29:17.270 --> 29:21.530 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore or the price of a dog into the house of the 29:21.530 --> 29:25.950 Lord thy God for any vow, for even both these are abomination unto the Lord thy God. 29:25.950 --> 29:29.610 He's saying, you know, don't take the money that you earned as being a prostitute 29:29.610 --> 29:33.730 and put it in the offering plate. You know, so if you made money on only fans, 29:33.930 --> 29:40.050 don't tithe on it. Okay, is what the Bible's teaching here. Okay, Jeremiah chapter three, 29:40.130 --> 29:43.470 if you would flip over to Jeremiah three. I got a hurry because I got a lot more ground to cover. 29:44.930 --> 29:48.550 Jeremiah chapter three, I'll start reading while you get there. Verse three, 29:48.730 --> 29:53.050 there, therefore the showers have been withholding and there have been no ladder 29:53.050 --> 29:59.590 rain and thou hadst a whore's forehead thou refuses to be ashamed. So he's saying, you know, 29:59.810 --> 30:05.010 when you refuse to be ashamed for the sins that you do, he says you have a whore's forehead. 30:05.130 --> 30:11.110 So the quintessential person who has no shame is the whore according to the Bible. Right. 30:11.790 --> 30:16.030 And so, you know, this is what third wave feminism is embracing and saying, 30:16.270 --> 30:20.950 hey, you go girl, be a harlot, be a whore. There's no shame in that. 30:21.830 --> 30:27.450 You know, it's your body, your choice. And so, you know, you just rock that thing. 30:27.730 --> 30:32.970 You know, that's what they're basically teaching in the third wave in the 90s and 2000s. 30:33.010 --> 30:36.610 This is what was being taught. Man, I got a hurry. Jeremiah chapter three, 30:36.650 --> 30:43.090 verse nine, it came to pass through the lightness of her Hortom that she defiled the land 30:43.090 --> 30:47.750 and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. Now look, notice this word, 30:47.750 --> 30:51.230 the lightness of the Hortom, meaning that they don't think it's a big deal. 30:52.050 --> 30:55.490 Like they're not taking it seriously. Like something serious would be something heavy. 30:56.210 --> 31:00.370 And then the lightness is just like flippantly. And you know what they'll even call this like 31:00.370 --> 31:07.710 casual, having these casual encounters and this casual hookup culture. It's wickedness. 31:08.830 --> 31:14.910 Go to Jeremiah six, verse 15, Jeremiah six, 15, were they ashamed when they had 31:14.910 --> 31:20.890 committed abomination? Nay, they were not at all ashamed. Neither could they blush. 31:21.390 --> 31:25.690 Therefore they shall fall among them that fall. At that time that I visit them, 31:25.770 --> 31:29.490 they shall be cast down, say at the Lord. And verse 16 is the answer. The old paths, wherein is the good way and walk therein. The Bible does not distinguish between the woman who's just out being promiscuous 32:20.790 --> 32:24.410 and the woman who's selling her body in prostitution. That women should have the right to dress however they want in whatever situation 34:40.650 --> 34:45.910 they want. So if you think about it, in the earlier waves of feminism, 34:45.910 --> 34:49.570 they're basically fighting for the right to wear men's clothing. 34:50.710 --> 34:56.110 So in the second wave of feminism, they're really normalizing wearing men's clothing 34:56.110 --> 34:59.130 and fighting to wear men's clothing. Now, this is not used to be this way in our country. 34:59.510 --> 35:04.430 In fact, when my dad was a teenager and my mom was a teenager growing up in Los Angeles, 35:04.570 --> 35:09.550 California in the 1960s. Now, just so you know, Los Angeles is not the Bible Belt. 35:10.390 --> 35:18.690 Okay? So this is LA in the 60s, public school system. And you know what? The girls are required 35:18.690 --> 35:23.090 to wear skirts and dresses to school every day. And they have to reach the knee. Knee-length 35:23.090 --> 35:28.690 skirts and dresses. This is in the 60s now. Knee-length skirts and dresses. The man had 35:28.690 --> 35:34.010 to have short hair. And, you know, it was just the culture. That's just the way it was. 35:34.150 --> 35:38.330 Well, that's a biblical culture. It's a biblical concept. Because the Bible teaches that 35:38.330 --> 35:43.370 we should dress differently. Like, we shouldn't be in drag. Man shouldn't be putting on women's 35:43.370 --> 35:47.510 clothing. Women should be putting on men's clothing. And the Bible says this in Deuteronomy 22 35:47.510 --> 35:52.050 5. You don't have to turn there. But it says, the woman shall not wear that which pertaineth 35:52.050 --> 35:59.090 unto a man. Neither shall a man put on a woman's garment for all that do so or an abomination 35:59.090 --> 36:06.090 unto the Lord thy God. So obviously, you know, we want to dress like man as man. We want 36:06.090 --> 36:10.190 women to dress like women. And throughout history, this is what it is. But women, you know, 36:10.570 --> 36:14.890 in the feminist movement, which is almost like a masculist movement, where they're saying, 36:14.990 --> 36:20.650 hey, we have to be able to dress like men so that we can go do men's jobs. And where men's 36:20.650 --> 36:25.090 clothing to do men's jobs. Well, the third wave comes along and says, well, we want to do men's 36:25.090 --> 36:31.410 jobs in women's clothing. And not only that, but we want to be able to wear the skirt 36:31.410 --> 36:37.570 just as short as possible in all situations. Because otherwise, we're being body shaved. 36:38.630 --> 36:43.650 You know, if we can't just let it all hang out everywhere we go, and just wear this super 36:43.650 --> 36:49.310 provocative clothing and put our bodies on display, then you're oppressing us and body 36:49.310 --> 36:53.450 shaming us. And you know what? If men are distracted by us, well, that's their fault. 36:54.190 --> 36:58.650 They just need to just become more like Stevie Wonder and just kind of keep their eyes 36:58.650 --> 37:02.810 to themselves. And it's their problem and it's their fault. You know, when in reality, 37:02.950 --> 37:08.490 obviously we as men, yeah, we are responsible to guard our eyes and to not set something wicked 37:08.490 --> 37:13.230 before our eyes. And we should keep our eyes, you know, on the right things. But then also, 37:13.230 --> 37:17.350 there shouldn't just be a bunch of temptations walking around either. Like why can't we do 37:17.350 --> 37:23.570 both? Like why can't women dress modestly and men control their eyes both? You know, and we 37:23.570 --> 37:30.370 could just have like a double safeguard there. Okay. But now you get into this thing of just 37:30.370 --> 37:37.610 even like morbidly obese women wearing almost no clothing. Because they're just like, well, 37:37.750 --> 37:42.910 you know, I just have to just express myself. And I just have to just show it all to you. 37:43.730 --> 37:48.730 And here's the thing about this women is that, you know, according to the Bible, first 37:48.730 --> 37:54.030 of all, there's what the Bible calls the attire of a harlot. You know, in Proverbs chapter seven, 37:54.090 --> 37:58.570 verse 10, it says they're met in a woman with the attire of a harlot. And that should be 37:58.570 --> 38:02.370 something that you don't want to wear where God's looking down from heaven and describing you that 38:02.370 --> 38:07.890 way. But go if you would to 1 Timothy chapter two, because you should be ashamed to dress like 38:07.890 --> 38:14.740 a harlot, right? If it's not for sale, take down the for sale side. And so they want to 38:14.740 --> 38:20.580 dress super provocatively and wear all these things. And look, this is not making you more 38:20.580 --> 38:26.480 attractive to the right kind of men. You know, if you're a young lady, if you're a teenage girl, 38:26.720 --> 38:31.080 if you're a young single lady right now, just so you know, the most attractive thing that you 38:31.080 --> 38:36.220 could wear is you could dress like a lady and dress modestly, that's going to impress the right 38:36.220 --> 38:43.320 kind of man. Okay, now I'm sure that you can just impress some skeevy dude, some gross, 38:44.040 --> 38:50.700 greasy, slimy, skeevy kind of a dude by just going around half naked or whatever. And you know what? 38:50.840 --> 38:56.360 We see this sometimes, don't we? I mean, I remember my wife and I were on vacation in Washington 38:56.360 --> 39:00.260 earlier this year, and we were in Leavenworth. It's like this German village and everything. 39:00.660 --> 39:05.700 And so, you know, you got all the women in the dirndoles and the German outfits and the 39:05.700 --> 39:09.460 dresses and stuff. And I kid you not, there was this woman walking down the street. I don't 39:09.460 --> 39:11.980 think my wife was there to see this. There was a woman walking down the street that was 39:11.980 --> 39:17.320 virtually naked. And she was with her boyfriend, and he looked like some kind of a punk rocker from 39:17.320 --> 39:23.300 the early 80s or something. He was kind of punked out. And I mean, this woman was basically like 39:23.300 --> 39:28.560 tantamount to being naked. Like if she would have been in her underwear, that probably would have 39:28.560 --> 39:35.120 been like more, it would have been less revealing. And honestly, it just, everybody was horrified. 39:35.260 --> 39:40.900 Like even just unsaved, worldly people, just everybody was just like glaring at her 39:40.900 --> 39:46.700 and everybody's elbowing and whispering like, what? This is gross. What is this? Because she was just 39:46.700 --> 39:53.100 kind of a gross looking woman. And then she's just like virtually naked. And it's just like, 39:53.180 --> 39:58.240 there's families and stuff, just trying to enjoy a wholesome time. You ladies, you can dress nice and wear a nice 40:30.140 --> 40:34.700 feminine, modest outfit. And you know what? Men who are the right kind of men, 40:34.700 --> 40:38.200 you know, they're still going to see your beauty. They could look at your face, for example, 40:38.700 --> 40:44.760 and like your face. Okay? But not only that, but here's the thing is that, you know what? Yeah, 40:44.900 --> 40:50.920 women are beautiful. We get it. We don't need to see everything. Okay? And so just showing off 40:50.920 --> 40:56.780 everything is just cheapening yourself, disgracing yourself, dishonoring yourself. Who knows what I'm talking about? Like, you meet someone 41:37.060 --> 41:41.860 and they're wearing the mask and you could know these people for weeks or months while they're 41:41.860 --> 41:45.640 wearing a mask over their face. And you've interacted with people for, I mean, there were 41:45.640 --> 41:51.200 people that I interacted with for hours and hours and hours. And I had no idea what was 41:51.200 --> 41:56.880 under that mask. Okay? And then when they take off the mask for the first time, it's jarring. 41:58.200 --> 42:01.240 And it's not that these are weird looking people.
